We’ll be using our specialist engineering train which moves along the track removing existing track components whilst simultaneously laying new ones. To find out more about the type of machinery, scan the following QR code with your phone or visit www.networkrail.co.uk/running-the-railway/looking-after-the-railway/our-fleet-machines-and-vehicles.

We know we’ll be working near your home at times and we’re sorry if we disturb you.  We’ll do everything possible to keep this to a minimum. This work will generate noise, particularly during our core renewal shifts and we want to thank you for your patience as we carry out this important work.

We hope this information is useful, but if you have any questions then please do get in touch. You can call our dedicated 24-hour National Helpline on 03457 11 41 41, scan this QR code with your phone, or visit our website at www.networkrail.co.uk/contactus.

Yours faithfully
